Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using the Virido application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of service
Virido provides tools to help users:
- Identify plants using AI
- Diagnose plant health issues
- Manage plant care reminders
- Organize a personal plant collection
- Receive AI-generated plant care guidance
Information provided by the app is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional horticultural advice.
AI disclaimer
The AI assistant provides automated responses based on machine learning models. Results may not always be accurate. Users should exercise their own judgment when caring for plants. Virido is not responsible for plant damage or loss resulting from app recommendations.
Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Subscriptions and billing
Virido offers optional Pro features through an auto-renewable subscription purchased directly through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Subscription plans:
- Virido Pro Monthly: billed monthly
- Virido Pro Annual: billed annually
Free trial:
Virido Pro includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Your free trial begins on the date you subscribe. After the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.
Automatic renewal:
Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Payment:
Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and upon each renewal.
Managing and cancelling your subscription:
- On iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Virido
- On Android: Go to Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Virido

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of an active subscription period, except where required by applicable law.
Price changes:
Virido reserves the right to modify subscription pricing. You will be notified in advance of any price changes, which will apply at the next renewal cycle.
Free features:
The Virido app provides basic functionality free of charge. A subscription is required to access advanced AI features including unlimited plant identification, disease diagnosis, AI chat, and unlimited plant collection.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
- Abuse or overload the AI services
- Interfere with app security or infrastructure
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Users may delete their account at any time from the app settings.
Limitation of liability
Virido is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for plant damage, data loss, or service interruptions.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
